FLUORESCENT COPPER NANOCLUSTERS

نویسندگان

چکیده

Clusters of coinage metals like silver and gold have been studied for their opto-physical properties interesting applications. These nanoscale materials are usually synthesized from salts by reduction in aqueous solution at ambient conditions. Copper nanoclusters were copper (II) using sodium borohydride as reducing agent solution. The resulting sample was observed to be luminescent with emission bands 346 428 nm. Confocal microscopy images the showed small, seemingly spherical “particles” that visibly fluorescent photostable. Mass spectrometry data revealed clusters had a molecular mass m/z = 575.8 formula [Cu7B3O5.H2O]¯. can applied areas catalysis, optical electronic devices, chemical biosensors vitro systems.

One-step prepared fluorescent copper nanoclusters for reversible pH-sensing.

A one-step synthesis of water soluble and pH-responsive trypsin-stabilized fluorescent copper nanoclusters (CuNCs) was reported without using additional protective or reducing agents, and the as-prepared CuNCs exhibited highly stable properties including oxidation resistance, thermal stability and photostability.

Water-soluble fluorescent silver nanoclusters.

Ag nanoclusters consist of several to roughly a hundred atoms and possess sizes comparable to the Fermi wavelength of electrons; they exhibit molecule-like properties, including discrete electronic transitions and strong fluorescence. These nanoclusters are of significant interest because they provide the bridge between atomic and nanoparticle behavior in noble metals. Since the first observati...

Label-free fluorescent detection of copper(II) using DNA-templated highly luminescent silver nanoclusters.

Novel luminescent silver nanoclusters (AgNCs) were synthesized utilizing DNA as templates by a simple, rapid and one-pot procedure. Luminescence studies indicated that these DNA-AgNCs exhibited strong emission with peak maximum at 624 nm. The fluorescence of the DNA-AgNCs was found to be quenched by Cu(2+) enabling its detection with high sensitivity and selectivity.

Silver nanoclusters as fluorescent probes for selective and sensitive detection of copper ions.

Fluorescent DNA-Ag NCs are demonstrated as novel, label-free, and turn-on fluorescence probes for Cu(2+) ions sensors. We also used this novel fluorescent probe to determine Cu(2+) ions in Montana soil (SRM 2710) and pond water.

Highly Sensitive Simultaneous Detection of Mercury and Copper Ions by Ultrasmall Fluorescent DNA-Ag Nanoclusters.

Fluorescent metal nanoclusters (NCs) have given rise to a new class of fluorescent nanomaterials for the detection of heavy metals. Here, we design a simple, rapid and highly sensitive sensing nanosystem for the detection of Hg2+ and Cu2+ based on fluorescence quenching of ultrasmall DNA-Ag NCs. The fluorescence intensity of DNA-Ag NCs was selectively quenched by Hg2+ and Cu2+, and the limit of...
